Nordfjall

‘Nordfjall’ is the name of my main photographic project.

It is an exploration of the landscapes of the Nordic countries, from the vast Norwegian forests and fjords to the volcanic black beaches of Iceland.

It is my ambition to create at least one collection from each of the Nordic countries, and for Nordfjall to continually develop.

Having studied both medieval Scandinavian history and Nordic languages, I feel that I am able to deeply connect with, and understand, Nordic landscapes as a photographic subject.

 
My aim is to create images that convey the sense of wonder these countries give me, respecting the ancient heritage of the rugged nature that is found in this part of the world.

The project is divided into the collections below, arranged chronologically from newest to oldest.
